Life skills As the modern time is posing different sorts of new and surprising challenges, it becomes mandatory to acquire different life skills such as Yoga, Physical Fitness, Health and Hygiene to tackle the challenges life projects in front of us. The various co-curricular activities help the students achieve a sound physic which ultimately results in a great help for achieving their curricular goals. For example, our institution conducts various Yoga and Physical Fitness based programs across a particular academic session in order to make the learners understand their body and mind and work accordingly. During the last five academic sessions, Sundarban Mahavidyalaya had successfully organised four programs on Yoga and three on Physical Fitness Training. Besides, several programs on health and hygiene are conducted on a regular basis in the college. For example, blood donation camp, free health check-up camp, covid awareness program, dengue awareness camp, tobacco prohibition camp etc. are organized on a regular basis by the NSS and NCC unit of the college. Thus, the institution is approaching to achieve ‘sustha shorir, sustha mon, chaiche sara Sundarban’. |
